The SOT/SP calibration research and software implementation is largely due to the work of Bruce Lites of HAO The Level 2 inversions represented graphically on these pages are due to the work of HAO/SP members Scott McIntosh, Alfred de Wijn, and Rob Markel.

The Level2 science data (floating point) summarized graphically on this page is available as binary extended FITS files. Routines to read and these into SolarSoft compatible "index,data" arrays are distributed within the SOT branch of SSW. The library also includes utilities for automated and remote integration of the Level1 and Level2 data into an SSW client from the designated SOT/SP http server.

SSW clients which do not have access to data locally may incorporate the map data summarized on this page into your current sswidl session via verbatim cut&paste of the the commands (in orange) into your IDL prompt (an up to date SOT library is assumed)
